Only $244 for 4 solid Cooper Weathmaster studded snow tires. Having ridiculously small wheels has its perks! Plus its an excuse to upgrade to 15s and sticky tires for summer!

I am deeply envious of your well priced tires. The 18inch/19inch combo that I have is expensive.

Unless you spend a lot of time on ice roads, (i.e. the roads you see on Ice Road Truckers) I'd skip the studs next time. Modern winter tires don't really need them, they don't help on anything other than ice or very hard-packed snow (definitely not in fresh snow or slush), can dangerously reduce traction on bare or wet pavement, and will destroy the road surface.
I live in a city where half the roads don't ever get plowed and are covered in packed snow typically from mid-November to mid-April. I've never felt the need for studs.

I live off of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere that is essentially 3 miles of sheet ice from November to March, and as of yet the studs aren't installed, they just got thrown in for free so who was I to say no? Although I've had these same tires before on a different car with studs and they inspired a lot more confidence on the roads that Im driving most often, than any other tires, even Hakkapelittas
